Ada Tax Professionals was started in 1991 by Elke Gribskov to provide an alternative to the large impersonal tax preparation firms, grocery store tax outlets and high priced CPAs. We value our long term relationships with our many clients and welcome new clients each year. Our clients enjoy an atmosphere that is kept light with humor and friendliness and interviews are conducted in private offices.
The staff at Ada Tax Professionals works with our clients to achieve an accurate and complete return with all possible deductions and credits considered. When choosing amongst alternative tax treatment possibilities, the client’s goals and situation are carefully considered.
Our clients come from all throughout Ada County, as well as other neighboring counties such as Canyon, Gem, and Elmore. Many former Idaho residents now mail or email their information from other states including Oregon, Washington, California and further.

Elke Gribskov, Enrolled Agent (EA) and owner of Ada Tax Professionals, has an accounting degree from the University of Oregon and over 27 years of tax experience. Elke places a high value on keeping up-to-date with tax law and practice, and enjoys teaching and training as well as tax preparation. Her clients are very important to her and she will go above and beyond the call of duty in order to help her clients.

Miri Gillihan, Enrolled Agent, studied at Willamette University and came to Ada Tax Professionals in 1999. She is highly motivated with a quick and inquiring mind. Miri is our Office Supervisor, and has recently earned Enrolled Agent status. There is no end to her skills. You will see her performing many administrative duties, bookkeeping, payroll services, and tax preparation. Recently, Miri has worked up the confidence to be a speaker for Idaho Association of Tax Consultants. She is also responsible for IT support and the creation of this website!

Robin Gervais, Enrolled Agent, comes to our company with a passion for taxes. Her junior high teacher got her hooked on tax preparation. After years of managing the office for her family owned business she continued her education by taking formal classes in tax preparation and has volunteered for AARP TaxAide for several years. She is constantly expanding her knowledge of tax preparation, payroll and bookkeeping, and recently earned the status of Enrolled Agent. Her hard work and attention to details added to her caring nature, make Robin a delight to work with and a skillful tax preparer. Robin is quickly becoming proficient and experienced dealing with the IRS and Idaho State Tax Commission on complex client issues. Her perseverance has made a difference to many of her clients.

Megahn Berndt is Ada Tax professional’s newest employee and receptionist. She is originally from Sonoma County, CA but is currently a proud resident of Caldwell. Meg come’s to ATP with an accounting degree from Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA and numerous years of customer service experience. In her spare time, Meg can be found camping, playing volleyball, or catching a Steelheads game. Meg’s easy going demeanor and welcoming manner make her a great addition to the office. We are fortunate to add such a talented and quick learning member to our team!

Jim Barga is an Idaho native and graduated from BSU with a BA degree in 1972. He then went to work for the U.S. Treasury Department as a Revenue Agent for 18 years, and spent another 12 years as a Regional Appeals Officer. After retiring from the IRS, Jim worked for an accounting firm during tax season for several years. Jim loves the outdoors, recreational biking, walking and golf, but his favorite thing in the world is being a grandparent. Jim is looking forward to another exciting tax season here with ATP.

Marybeth Netson, Enrolled Agent, is a Boise native and attended both U of I and BSU, graduating with a degree in accounting. She has over 26 years of experience in corporate and small business accounting, and has become more involved in tax preparation during the past six years. Marybeth enjoys skiing, when there is snow, and has been active in the formation and ongoing operation of Idaho Association of Tax Consultants. We are excited to have Marybeth on board as she brings a new perspective to ATP.

David Gribskov is Elke's husband of 38 years. Dave has been ATP's handyman, and now proudly holds the position of Relief Receptionist. David's quick wit and friendly personality make him a great fit at the front desk. Dave is retired from Liberty Northwest, and is now seriously pursuing his passion for woodturning.
